Chores can wait....we are making MeMoRiEs!

This week was full of excitment!  We found out that we will be blessed with a baby boy in September!  If that wasn't exciting enough Clare got to play on Daddy's plane on Saturday and he was greeted with a welcoming committee upon landing.  Clare was a natural at the controls!  Sunday we played outside and Clare helped Daddy mow the grass.

The day wouldn't be complete if we didn't mow the grass....hOlLyWoOd style!



You also have to play in the grass in your wet swimming suit to get the full affect

And the night ended with a nice fire!

Oh BOY!

Its hard to believe but we will be blessed with a little baby BOY!  We were in shock but the thought of a little boy running around has finally set in.  It took the bedding arriving and multiple shopping trips but we are well on our way of welcoming Dominic Ahearn.

Baby Ahearn #2 is on their way!

We are so excited that we will soon be a family of 4!  Clare says she is going to help take care of the baby but we will see how excited she is once the baby gets here!  We have decided on Reese Katherine or Dominic Whitney for the names.  Daddy and Mommy both have a feeling we will be adding a Reese to our family but we will find out in September.  Speaking of September, as it turns out Clare was born at 9:17 at night and now our due date for 9/17 kinda weird : )

Happy Thanksgiving!

This was Clare's 2nd Thanksgiving and she had a blast!  She loved stuffing : ) Daddy wasn't able to be home for this years Thanksgiving but we were thinking about him the whole time!

I'll figure out how to flip these one day!

Flash Back.....

I know its a little early but I wanted to upload some pictures of this time last year.....I was 39 weeks here (Clare was born on her due date which the chances of that are usually pretty slim!)

Almost One and Fairy Wands

Things are almost done with all of Clare's party arrangments and its been a busy August.   Paul has been traveling every other week and my job has been keeping me very busy as well.  As if I was not busy enough, I decided to start making Tulle wands to sell at Craft Fairs!  I already sold 2 so I'm 1/3 of the way to making my money back for materials.  Clare is learning new things daily and getting so smart!  She has yet to show interest in walking so we are not going to push her. One thing that I am proud of is I have mastered the exact number of cheerios needed to keep her occupied long enough so I can put on my makeup and fix my hair!  This is a huge success for me, lol!  
Over the last week she has had Croup and she has been such a trooper about not feeling well. The picture is from her at the doctor and as you can see, she handles sickness well! 

Next post will probably be Clare's 1 year pictures as well as pictures from her party!
